September 2, 2015 Minutes of the Pine River Ranches Landowners Assoc. Monthly Meeting

 

Meeting is held at the LeRoy residence, 18 Pine River Ranch Circle

 

Meeting called to order at  7:OO pm by president John Salsbury

Board members in attendance: John Salsbury , Pat LeRoy, John Dustin, Shane French, and Susan McLaughlin.

 

Minutes read and approved. Motion made by Pat LeRoy    seconded by Shane French

 

Treasurers report prepared and read by Pat LeRoy.    $ 5O.OO written to USPS  General fund: 16,2O5.O5  Winter Account:   $2,659.85

 

Old Business:

Snow Removal:  Quote received from PAP. $ 1O.OO /hour increase.  Neil quote will be compared. Shane will send out a notice to Bayfield school email list for any interest. All quotes will be compared.

 

Culvert on Ludwig:  Will be done in fall. Gosney has sent in bid. We will move ahead with culvert, see how it works ,then install concrete if needed after.

 

Ditch cleaning: John Salsbury utilized his tractor to clean out the ditch on Ludwig.  It will need to be cleaned out frequently after rain.

 

Bridge: No new action. Need to hear back from Gosney and meet at bridge to discuss. Dick Benzi may do concrete work ,

 

Pond; Nothing new , will wait for fall.

 

New Business:

Mailbox / bulletin board revitalization will be covered. Plans will be presented at the next meeting.  We have enough slots in the metal box for all newspapers.

 

Weeds for next year: we will enforce weed control. Rod Cook will report. We will spray thistle around pond next year. Mowing did not control well this year. Shane will call Horizon, Pat will call another for a bid.

 

Richard Diedrich called to complain about speeding on road with razor. We can not do anything about dogs barking or people speeding. Being considerate neighbors is always appreciated.

 

 

LPEA tree trimming: LPEA will be here soon. They will leave trunks but need to clean up branches. We will make sure they clean up brush piles.

 

Richard Diedrich called Shane French to report that people were fishing in the pond late at night and camping there. Shane talked to them and explained catch and release fishing at the pond and being with residents in attendance.
